If an error is made in the preparation of your tax return by Eckenrode Tax Service that costs you interest or penalty on additional taxes due, Eckenrode Tax Service will pay that interest and penalty provided you have paid us for your tax return and that you contact us within five business days of receiving your first notice from any taxing authority regarding your tax return. In addition, if your income tax return is audited, Eckenrode Tax Service will appear with you at that audit at no extra cost and explain how your return was prepared, but not as your legal representative.
